I enjoyed the ‘Easy Wave Violet’ petunias i grew in pots this summer. I’m not sure I would describe the color as violet (light royal purple?), but it’s very vivid and eye-catching.
The plants grow in a nice mound and don’t die out in the middle as the plants age. These petunias can spread 2 to 3 feet, and they grow only 6 to 12 inches tall.
It was a bit of a rough year for potted plants around here. We had so much rain in June and July that some days the pots barely had time to drain before they were inundated again. That didn’t seem to bother these petunias at all.
