Recently a series of Alberta Clippers slid through Wisconsin bringing fresh snow nearly every 12 hours. In fact we broke a record for most consecutive days of measurable snow with NINE. Shoveling got old pretty fast.
I think all that snow pooped out the birds too. The Tufted Titmice sat all fluffed up in the shrub by my window for long periods of time. Those little bundles of energy rarely sit still.
I thought this one looked pretty pathetic (okay, adorable) visiting the birdfeeder with his little bed head:
