On the Menu

The songbirds weren’t too pleased when this juvenile Cooper’s Hawk showed up to look for a meal.

He sat quietly on top of one of the feeders for several minutes. Then suddenly he jumped down to the ground and walked around tilting his head.

I think he may have been listening/looking for small rodents.

Now that’s a menu choice I can support wholeheartedly.
