It must’ve been a good winter for ants because they are everywhere right now—inside and outside. I’ve seen them in just about every room of our house, but I can’t figure out how they’re getting in. Since I’ve had ants nest in my houseplants before, I’m on high alert. I set up traps all over the house. My husband had to put up ant traps at his workplace, and several other people have mentioned to me that they’re currently battling ants. Apparently the creatures are trying to take over the world.
Over the weekend I stumbled upon a disgustingly large swarm of ants just outside the door to our backyard. While I’m sure they were engaged in some sort of important “ant business” it looked to me like they were just scurrying around frantically without any purpose. There were thousands of them. Ick.
