Banner Year for Butterfly Weeds

My butterfly weeds (Asclepias tuberosa) look fantastic this year. I have a half-dozen plants scattered throughout the yard, and they are all blooming like crazy.

I grow the native, orange-flowering plant:

But I also grow and love the golden-yellow hybrid, ‘Hello Yellow’:

My ‘Hello Yellow’ plants are growing between ‘Stella In Yella’ daylilies and ‘Crazy Daisy’ Shasta daisies.

Every day the flowers are smothered in honeybees and little butterflies like the Gray Hairstreak, but so far I haven’t spotted any Monarch butterfly eggs or larvae.
