Our second very light snowfall of the season came overnight on Friday. The next morning there were birds on every feeder. I even spotted my first Pine Siskin, but he wasn’t interested in posing for any photos:
There are many more juncos this year compared to last:
And the gang of 90+ goldfinches that ravaged my feeders back in October and November finally disappeared a few weeks ago, but all it took was one light snowfall and I was counting more than 40 of them again.
