So many birds have visited my feeders recently. Some are just dropping in on their way south for the winter. Others are just happy to be done with nesting and fledglings and have a little more time to sit at the feeders and re energize.
Yesterday I noticed the feeders were unusually quiet again, and the squirrels and neighbor’s chickens were making a racket all afternoon. It wasn’t until just before suppertime that the culprit made himself known.
