Just like last fall there are a couple of robins who have started visiting my birdfeeders again.
They seem to like peanuts and sunflower chips the best, but I’ve also seen them pick up safflower seeds in their beaks.
Yesterday on the way to church we drove past a cemetery and the entire expanse of green lawn was full of robins hopping around looking for insects.
Some of them are gathering in flocks to migrate a bit south of here for the winter. Many others will stay and rely on fruit trees (or peanuts!) for their winter food source.
