Buried in Blue Jays

The Blue Jays in our neighborhood had a very successful breeding year. There are at least 4 young birds who have been visiting the feeders regularly since early August. It’s hard to tell if they are all from the same set of parents or if there are two sets of families.

They are fun to watch, but boy is it noisy now when predators like cats show up in our yard!

And the peanut supply dwindles fast.
