If I was a bird I would’ve high-tailed it further south back on Halloween already. Mother nature has been throwing everything at us over the last several weeks (except, thankfully, ice).
Goldfinches like this one stay here for the winter. I have a nice flock about about 20 or so birds this season. Their favorite feeder food is shelled sunflower seeds.
