Munching Mourning Doves

Goldfinches have dominated my feeders for weeks. With no snow on the ground, it was easy for birds to find food elsewhere.

It snowed a few nights ago and since then I’ve counted at least a dozen different species visiting the feeders again, including a large flock of Mourning Doves.

Unfortunately an even bigger flock of starlings has decided to drop in as well.
