By the end of March many of the juncos start moving north for the breeding season, but so far I still have a nice little flock hanging around.
During the winter I throw seed on the ground for them, but now that the chipmunks are awake that’s an exercise in futility. Those little guys are warm-blooded vacuum cleaners!
