House Wrens are nesting in one of our birdhouses again this summer. The parents are particularly uptight about anyone getting near the house. If I get too close while photographing flowers, one of the adults will fly to the ground about 15 feet from the house and scold loudly to try to lure me away.
It’s been fun watching them tirelessly collect insects and grubs for the peeping babies.
