It’s exciting to see any of the warblers, but one of my favorites is the Chestnut-sided Warbler. Several of them having been singing their hearts out in the neighborhood this week with their “Pleased, pleased, pleased to MEETCHA” song. You can’t help but smile when you hear it.
They are quite beautiful little birds that get their name from the chestnut-colored bars on the sides of their white bellies.
