The White-throated Sparrows have hung around our neighborhood for quite a long time now. I’d like to think they’re sticking around for the winter, but one morning when I open the shades they’ll be gone.
And a few weeks ago there was a handful of Mourning Doves at my platform feeder each afternoon, but that flock has quickly grown to eleven birds. They will indeed stay in this area over the winter.
