This is Marigold ‘Strawberry Blonde’. It’s a French marigold for the front of the border and grows 8-10 inches tall.
The flowers are supposed to change colors depending on the weather conditions. When it’s warmer, flowers will bloom in yellow and pink shades. In cooler weather, pink and plum tones dominate. We shall see.
The plants have a mounded habit and like other border marigolds will continue churning out the blooms until frost.
