I never like to plant too many of a new-to-me cultivar just in case the flowers underwhelm. And then usually, like now, I’ll regret it.
I’m quite taken with these little ‘Popstars’ phlox. Now that the flowers are opening fully, I’m impressed with the good mix of colors. So far there’s royal purple with a white center:

Fuchsia with a white center:
Red with pink edging:
And even a bluish-purple with a dark purple eye:
The other cultivar I grew—’21st Century’—also looks fantastic right now:
