Two weeks ago during that lovely stretch of summer-in-early-spring weather, my friend and I took a trip to one of our favorite birding locations.
We were trying to identify some ducks when I noticed these two Canada Geese taking turns bobbing their heads in front of each other. I said to my friend, “What on earth are they doing? Ohhh, is this a mating ritual?” A few minutes later we had the answer to that question!
