My enormous, tri-colored (okay really 3 plants crammed into one pot) mum lasted for almost 7 weeks!
I’m so glad my friend told me about her little find during her visit to an apple orchard back in late September.
I did put the container on my covered screen porch for a few weeks when the nighttime temperatures were in the 30s (F), so I’m glad I didn’t cut off the hanger. It made it easy to move the plant in and out depending on the weather forecast.
Nowadays it looks a little worse for the wear, but it definitely gave my my money’s worth.
I already put a note in my calendar to visit the orchard again next fall!
