I’m not sure what to make of Rudbeckia ‘Cherry Brandy.’ I love the smoky burgundy (and sometimes almost-brown) flowers.
Unfortunately they were one of the more troublesome rudbeckias I started from seed this year (out of 14 different cultivars). I had to reseed several times to get decent germination.
My biggest concern is that most of my ‘Cherry Brandy’ plants have wilted and dried up. As I’ve mentioned before, it’s been a rough year for annuals, but I’m not sure I’m impressed enough with ‘Cherry Brandy’ to try it again next year.
