About 3 weeks ago, I spotted this partially-albino Junco sitting in the shrub by my feeders. I hadn’t seen him since.
During the snowstorm the other day, I was photographing the poor birds being blown around by the wind and pelted with snow, when I spotted a familiar face in my camera lens…my little mutant friend! He arrived with a very large flock of Juncos.
I get the biggest kick out of this funny little bird. The tiny strip of white above his eye makes it look like he’s eyeing me suspiciously.
