Apparently nothing can distract goldfinches from their Nyjer seed. We’ve had 40- and 50-mile-per-hour wind gusts in the last 2 days, but the birds are undeterred.
Their feathers ruffle, and the feeders swing wildly back and forth, but they don’t miss a morsel.
