Fill ‘Er Up!

I use a Droll Yankee Seed Scoop to fill my all bird feeders. It can hold 2 pounds of seed at a time. Scoop the birdseed from a bag or container with the wide end of the scoop. Then pour the seed into your feeder using the smaller opening.

It’s extremely handy for filling tubes like nyger and peanut feeders. The curved shape makes it easy to dump seed into taller hopper feeders and prevents the contents from spilling out as you’re moving around. Once you try one you’ll want to retire the plastic cups and ice cream buckets.
