I’m trying to narrow down which calendula seeds I should purchase this year. One cultivar that I definitely want to plant again is ‘Lemon Cream’. It was a standout in my garden last summer.
When the sun is shining on the flowers they resemble golden-yellow zinnias:
The 24-inch-tall plants send up both single and double flowers. I planted a clump next to some ‘Profusion White’ zinnias and they complemented one another nicely.
