I added a few new Zahara zinnias to my flowerbeds this year. This is ‘Zahara Double Fire’.
Zaharas are quickly becoming my favorite middle-of-the-border plants. These bushy, small-flowering zinnias grow 12 to 18 inches tall in full sun to partial-shade.
‘Zahara Double Fire’ is both an All-American Selections winner and a European Fleuroselect winner which means its garden performance is superior. The plants are resistant to powdery mildew and leaf spot and can handle heat and drought.
The plants will churn out fiery, red-orange blooms all summer long if you keep them deadheaded.
