I grew strawflowers this year for the first time in over a decade. I must admit that the flower-to-foliage ratio was a little low for my tastes, but the flowers were certainly photogenic:
I grew the apricot/peach mix from Johnny’s which grows 36 inches tall. The plants were attacked by baby bunnies in May, but they rallied and eventually reached their full height.
I will probably try them again next year, but I may experiment with a shorter variety.
