I’ve grown the original white Shasta Daisy. Does the Banana Cream retain its color or does it get whiter as the flowers open? James

They do indeed fade over time from yellow to pale yellow and then to a very light yellow/almost white. I’ve had trouble with my plant in the last two years—it didn’t bloom very much. However this weekend I was finally able to get outside and look at all my flowerbeds, and ‘Banana Cream’ looks to be quite happy this year. We’ll see if a robust plant translates into more blooms later this summer.
