I went back to the UW-Madison Arboretum early yesterday morning. I wanted to see if I could snap any good bird photographs.
There were hundreds of Cedar Waxwings chomping on last year’s leftover crabapples:
The Chickadees were gathering insects to feed their young:
I couldn’t take a step without startling a Gray Catbird. They were everywhere:
I also saw a half-dozen Baltimore Orioles, but none of them got close enough for a decent photograph:
