This is what Phlox paniculata ‘Wendy House’ is supposed to look like:
At some point my original plant must’ve dropped seeds and croaked. Last year I don’t remember seeing ‘Wendy House’ at all. This summer in its place was a lovely white phlox. Each flower had a whisper of pink in the center of the petals:
The flowers were pretty and looked great next to the pink and white Orienpet lilies growing nearby. ‘Wendy House’ is supposed to grow 18 to 24 inches tall, but these new seedlings grew almost 3 feet.
I wonder what will happen next year? Will they revert to completely white or will they still keep that blush-pink eye?
