If you think one Blue Jay makes a lot of noise, imagine a whole gang! Six of these characters started regularly visiting our backyard feeders recently.
There is at least one family because 2 of the birds still demand to be fed by adults even though they look fully-grown:
There is a lot of bickering and competition to see who can be the loudest and get the most attention.
The youngsters also seem to enjoy the fact that all the other bird species (except one ornery cardinal) scatter in every direction when they land on a feeder.
Despite the ruckus, they are great fun to watch:
