It’s molting season for many songbirds, and this Northern Cardinal is the most pathetic-looking bird I’ve seen so far.
It was really humid when I took these photos. My hair sticks up in every direction when I’m outside on a humid day (it’s what I like to call the “Albert Einstein look”). I wonder if feathers get out of control on humid days, too?
