Echinacea ‘Tiki Torch’

Oh how I love the color of this hardy coneflower, and my photos don’t do it justice:

‘Tiki Torch’ grows 28-36 inches tall on upright stems. The flowers are a gorgeous, spicy-orange color.

My plant got buried by other perennials last year and I didn’t get to see it bloom. This spring I moved it to the front row of one of my perennial borders, and I was thrilled when I saw those lovely orange flowers for the first time. My plant has been blooming for a couple of months now which is quite impressive for a plant that just got moved to a new location in May.

‘Tiki Torch’ is happy in full sun or part-shade and the plants are hardy in Zones 3-8. I can’t wait until my plant gets bigger so I can divide it and have more of these beauties popping up in my flowerbeds.
