Grackles

They say all babies are cute, but when it comes to Grackles, I’m not buying it. From what I’ve witnessed over the last two weeks, they are nothing but lazy, noisy freeloaders.

Even though they are almost bigger than their mother, they won’t eat from the feeder unless she places the seed in their mouths.

They are hungry all day long. When one is being fed, the other starts squawking about being neglected. There are only two of them, but they make enough noise for an entire flock of birds.

When their mother disappears, they have no interest in checking out the seed or their surroundings. They just wait anxiously until she returns.

Mom should hop a quick flight to the tropics and leave these two doofuses to fend for themselves.
