The Joes are Happy This Year

I know summer is fading fast when my Joe Pye weed plants start blooming again. My native plants as well as the hybrids I grow—‘Little Joe’ and ‘Baby Joe’—are all starting to bloom right now.

Joe Pye weed plants LOVE moist soil conditions, so this has been a perfect year for them, and soon my plants will be humming with scores of bumblebees.
