Birds in a Rush

The birds didn’t waste any time once the snow melted two weeks ago. Some are filling up nesting boxes, others are flying around with moss or twigs or hair or mud in their beaks on the way to a tree, shrub or patch of ground.

The migrating birds seem to be in a big hurry as well. The ones that have visited my yard so far have only stayed a day or two rather than a whole week like they usually do.
