The rodents have pretty much devoured every single bulb on our property, but in a few places there’s one lone tulip standing in defiance.
And daffodils are supposed to be poisonous to rodents, but I find it odd that only one or two years after I planted scores of daffodil bulbs, only a few flowers come up now:
So far my checkered lilies have been immune to critter attacks, but they just aren’t as flashy as the tulips and daffodils.
