After bragging to everyone that our live Christmas tree is the best-behaved one we’ve ever purchased, the tree is now showing me who’s boss. It drank gobs of water its first week in the tree stand, but now it’s now refusing to drink ANY water.
The needles are still green and fresh-looking, and they’re holding on tight so I’m hoping it will hang in there until Christmas.
I’m too embarrassed to put it out on the curb until after December 25th, so if the needles start falling drastically before then, we will have to toss it in the backyard for the birds to enjoy.
