I didn’t lose as many perennials over the winter this year, but one category of plants that did take a hit was the geraniums. My ‘Rozanne’ plants all survived, but all of the other newer hybrid geranium cultivars I purchased last spring couldn’t handle the harsh winter.
One exception is the cute little ‘Jolly Jewel Salmon’. It started blooming earlier than any of my perennials this year.
This front-of-the-border geranium grows 12 inches tall with a 12-inch spread. The flowers are a lovely shade of salmon-pink.
