I was giddy to that see one of my zinnia blooms escaped the rabbit repellent debacle and has started showing off. Zinnia ‘Zahara Double Salmon Rose’ grows 12 to 18 inches tall in full to part-sun.
Eventually the flowers fade to a lighter salmon and then to antique or light pink which gives them even more pizzazz (photos from a previous summer):
