I have clumps of rudbeckias popping up all over my flowerbeds this summer, and they look fantastic!
The weird thing is, I didn’t plant any of them in the spring, and I don’t remember planting rudbeckias in any those locations last year either.
They are definitely cultivars I’ve grown in the past like ‘Indian Summer’, ‘Cherokee Sunset’ and ‘Autumn Colors’, but how they self-seeded in these areas, I have no clue. And why the rabbits haven’t mowed them to the ground (they LOVE rudbeckias) is an even bigger mystery.
