One of my favorite perennials is Shasta Daisy ‘Sunny Side Up’. There’s just something cheerful about shasta daisies and ‘Sunny Side Up’ really delivers the blooms.
This carefree plant grows 24 inches tall in sun or part-sun. I planted one in my backyard several years ago, and this spring I added one to my new front yard flowerbed. I didn’t expect much from the new plant, but it showed me a thing or two. It bloomed like crazy for well over 6 weeks.
‘Sunny Side Up’ has no disease or pest problems in my garden, and honeybees find the flowers irresistible.
