‘Carmine Velour’ is a spreading Wave petunia that grows 6 to 8 inches tall with a spread of 3 to 4 feet.
Color-wise I think I like ‘Tidal Wave Red Velour’ a bit better, but I wasn’t all that impressed with the performance of that cultivar—I grew it in 2018.
I started ‘Carmine Velour’ from seed in early March. The plants grew slowly once planted in their permanent home in my front yard, and even now in late July, they really haven’t filled out completely.
