‘Dreamland Red’ is still my go-to zinnia for the front of an annual border. The rich, red blooms go great with so many other colors (gold, orange, purple, white), and the plants aren’t susceptible to any diseases or pests.
Even the Ravenous Rabbits of 2020 that are mowing down everything in sight have managed to leave my Dreamland Reds alone.
This zinnia grows 12-14 inches tall on sturdy, bushy plants in sun or part-sun. The flowers will keep coming all summer into fall.
