The Scilla siberica (Siberian Squill) ‘Spring Beauty’ bulbs that I planted in 2017 continue to bloom every year. One clump is growing in the lawn in front of a bench.
And the other one is on the east side of our house in an area where I grow hostas. It’s usually shady on that side of the house during the summer, but early in the spring there’s more sun because the oak trees haven’t leafed out yet.
These plants have lovely blue flowers and grow 3 to 6 inches high in full sun to part shade. They are very hardy (to Zone 2) and bloom in early spring.
