I planted a ‘Rosalie Figge’ bearded iris in 2014, but it didn’t bloom until 2016. Then 5 years went by and this weekend it bloomed again.
This moody iris grows 36 to 40 inches tall with large blueish-purple flowers.
I did divide this iris last spring, so maybe it was planted too deeply before? Next spring we’ll find out if ‘Rosalie Figge’ will honor me with back to back years of bloom or go back into hiding again.
