My phlox plants are having an exceptionally good year, and some of my plants have been growing in my flowerbeds for more than 10 years and I’ve never divided them.
‘Wendy House’ is supposed to have royal purple (magenta) flowers, but my plant reverted back to the color of one of its parents about 6 years ago. It’s still very healthy and happy and I actually like the reverted colors.
It looks lovely with the dark pink ‘Candy Floss’ phlox growing next to it. Both cultivars grow 20 to 24 inches tall, and my plants actually get part-sun rather than full sun and still put on an impressive display.
