My sedums have just started blooming. If you stand next to them right now you can hear a constant hum. No, I don’t have the world’s first singing plants. Instead I’ve discovered the equivalent of crack for bees. They are just crazy for the flowers and are practically stumbling over one another to get every last bit of pollen.
Their favorite seems to be my Sedum ‘Blackjack’ which grows about two feet tall with clear pink flowers.
But others are partial to the electric-pink blooms of my 18-inch-tall Sedum ‘Neon’:
