It was a beautiful sunny day with low humidity on Saturday, so my friend and I did some bird watching at a county park. Even with all the birds trying to stay more hidden now that they are nesting and raising young, we still managed to see 26 different species in 90 minutes including Eastern Meadowlarks, Bobolinks, a Ruby-throated Hummingbird and a pair of Eastern Bluebirds.
None of my photos could capture it properly, but the open field part of the hiking trail was a solid mass of wildflowers abuzz with bees and other pollinators.
