For the last several winters I’ve seen a nice little flock of Northern Cardinals sticking around the neighborhood and visiting the backyard feeders. It appears this winter will be no different.
In the past the females have outnumbered the males, but this year I have more males.
They usually visit the feeders at dusk, but sometimes also in the morning twilight. The most I’ve seen all at once so far is 11.
