Daylily ‘Saracenia’ was one of my pandemic impulse buys in 2020, and it finally had enough time to get established in my flowerbed to show off its cool lavender flowers this past summer.
This pretty daylily has 25-inch scapes that display huge 6.5″ flowers with a “chalky eyezone” and a green throat.
Even after a day in the July sun, the flowers still look fantastic!
‘Saracenia’ is a dormant daylily that was registered in 2012. Those big flowers are fragrant, and they appear in the middle of the daylily season.
